MCP Store

Campfire is the first ERP with an MCP store. Connectors give Ember live access to the other tools your business runs on, not through a CSV or a manual export, but directly. Connect tools like Ramp, HubSpot, Stripe, or Avalara and ask Ember to post accruals from approved Ramp POs, or pull HubSpot pipeline into a cash flow forecast, or reconcile Stripe payments automatically.

Every action creates a real entry in your books, timestamped and auditable and your financial data never leaves Campfire.

To get started, open the Connectors panel in Ember Settings. Read more about Connectors here.

Multi-Book Accounting

Multi-book is now live in Campfire. Every transaction posts once and flows into both your primary and secondary book. Post adjusting journals directly to the secondary book for GAAP vs. IFRS differences, alternative depreciation, or management vs. statutory reporting, without touching the primary book. Balance Sheet and Income Statement reports run against either book, with drill-through from any adjusting line back to the journal that created it.

Salesforce: Invoice PDF Sync

Campfire's two-way invoice sync with Salesforce kept invoice records in lockstep, but the actual PDF lived only in Campfire. Invoice PDFs now sync back into Salesforce as a file attached to the invoice record, so your AEs and CSMs can grab the latest version directly from Salesforce without switching back to Campfire.

Save Skills in Ember

Skills are reusable runbooks you save in Ember for any process your team runs repeatedly. Month-end close steps, vendor bill accruals, cost allocations, AR collections follow-ups. Write the procedure once, and Ember follows it the same way every time you ask. Create and manage your skills directly in the Ember chat.

Account Reconciliation

Account reconciliation is now built into the close checklist. Add a reconciliation item to your checklist template, set the account, currency, and any breakdown you need, and Campfire will create it automatically every month when the new checklist generates. You can set a stored balance to reconcile against, add notes and attachments, and mark it complete directly from the checklist. Everything stays in sync between the reconciliation page and the close checklist in real time.

AR Collection Agent

The AR Collection Agent runs your collections cadence automatically. It identifies overdue invoices, sends personalized branded reminders from your configured sender, and escalates based on aging. The work that used to mean pulling aging reports and drafting emails by hand now runs on its own. The agent is open for beta — reach out to your customer rep if you want access.

CRM Field Mapping

Before running a sync, you can now see a real sample record from your CRM next to each field mapping to confirm values look right upfront. One click generates AI suggestions for field pairings based on names and data types. Review, uncheck anything that looks off, and apply in bulk. Weak matches are filtered out so you are not pushed toward bad guesses.

Multiple Accounts per User

If you work across more than one Campfire workspace, you can now link them to a single login and switch between them without signing out. Permissions stay scoped per account, so nothing changes about what you can see or do in each workspace. Just less friction getting between them.

IntegrationsFixed AssetsOther

Fixed Assets: Batch and split linking

You can now link multiple transactions to a single asset, or split one transaction across multiple assets. Both cover capitalization scenarios that come up constantly and previously required workarounds. The fixed asset workflow now matches how purchases actually come in.

Plaid: Connection troubleshooting

There is now a dedicated troubleshooting view for every Plaid connection. Check connection health, run a test data pull, see which scopes are consented, and copy the Plaid item ID if you need to loop in support. Useful the next time a bank sync goes quiet and you are not sure why.

Rippling: New payroll types, automatic access

New Rippling payroll types now roll out to all Campfire customers automatically. Before, each one had to be granted manually, which meant delays every time Rippling shipped something new.

Mappings: Archived item count

Department and Payroll Mapping pages now show how many items have been archived. A badge on the Archive button in Payroll Mappings keeps the count visible while you work, so nothing gets overlooked when reviewing your mappings.

New Balance Sheet

You can now save views with date comparatives, filter and group your data the way you need it, and export to Excel with formatting and formulas intact.

Flux Analysis: Budget vs. Actuals Mode

Flux Analysis now supports Budget vs. Actuals in addition to Period over Period. Select BvA when creating a flux analysis and the budget loads into the variance calculation alongside actuals, with YTD support included. Ember generates commentary over BvA variances the same way it does for period-over-period, so close commentary happens in one workflow instead of two.

Ramp Tax Sync

Tax codes set up in Ramp now map to Campfire tax accounts, and the tax portion of every Ramp bill routes to the right GL account automatically. Main line, tax line, and trailing-tax line all book correctly on download. Multi-jurisdiction tax setups are supported. You can enable tax sync via a toggle in the Ramp integration settings.

Invoice Recovery Improvements

Three practical updates to how overdue AR is managed. You can now start recoveries for multiple overdue customers at once directly from AR Aging. Reminder emails pull in the customer's configured templates automatically. And recoveries resolve on their own once all invoices in the recovery are paid, including partial payments along the way.

Stripe Discounts

Discounts on Stripe invoices now flow through to Campfire as a first-class concept. Discount lines populate on invoice line items and the Discounts subtotal, and the related journal entry books AR at net, Deferred Revenue at gross, and Deferred Discounts at the discount value. Revenue recognition pro-rates discount amounts across the service period automatically. Gross revenue, discounts, and net revenue are now reportable cleanly inside Campfire.
