Owning our "Superpower"

From day one, our mission at Campfire has remained the same: provide superpowers to finance and accounting teams.

Before I founded Campfire, I was a finance executive for over 12 years. I deeply understood the gap between what finance teams are capable of and what their software lets them accomplish.

Campfire was the solution - get teams out out of spreadsheets and into real software for revenue reporting, revenue accounting, consolidations, prepaids, lease accounting, and more.

We’re reducing finance teams time to close to hours instead of weeks, providing visibility into previously buried insights, and enabling teams to focus on the value add work that drives their businesses forward.

Superpower isn't a feature. It's a force multiplier.

So when we thought about our first major brand campaign, with 265 billboards across NYC and San Francisco, we knew it had to center around ‘superpower’, because it's the most honest articulation of what we've already built, and where we plan to go.

It's the word finance leaders kept using when describing what our platform unlocks for their team. And if you look closely at the word itself, superpower, you'll notice ERP was always a part of it.

The teams scaling on Campfire today are forward thinkers and category leaders, and include some of the fastest-growing AI companies in the world, like Replit, Decagon, and PostHog. They know that great software is how lean teams 10x their output, up-level their role, and drive organizational growth.

And we're just getting started. With your financial data cleaned, structured, and securely stored in Campfire, the possibilities become limitless with AI applied on top.

Accounting Intelligence, our proprietary foundational model, runs invisibly in the background, categorizing, matching, and reconciling your data automatically. Ember provides you a conversational interface to ask questions, draft analyses, and surface insights on demand. And through our MCP server, you can connect Campfire directly to any other AI software in your workflow. My personal favorite is Claude Cowork - I can build board decks in minutes instead of days.

I'm incredibly proud of what we've already built alongside our customers, and even more excited about what comes next. We're moving into the era of the continuous close, with real-time visibility into your numbers, workflows that run automatically, and insights that surface without being asked for.

Next week, we're sharing our largest product launch of all time, and it’s something I know will fundamentally change how finance and accounting teams operate. It’s a new chapter that will redefine what a superpower can look like.
