Campfire + TRES Finance

TRES Finance crypto transaction data flows into Campfire — digital assets accounted for accurately.

Overview

TRES Finance is the leading crypto accounting and treasury management platform, now part of Fireblocks following acquisition. Used by companies managing significant digital asset activity — from DeFi protocols to crypto-native businesses — TRES provides the transaction data, cost basis tracking, and reporting infrastructure that makes crypto accounting tractable.

Why connect Campfire + TRES Finance

Crypto transactions in your general ledger

TRES Finance captures every on-chain transaction — buys, sells, transfers, staking rewards, and DeFi activity — and syncs them to Campfire as properly structured journal entries. Digital assets treated with the same accounting rigor as traditional transactions.

Cost basis and gain/loss handled automatically

TRES tracks cost basis across wallets, exchanges, and protocols. When assets are disposed, Campfire receives the gain/loss calculation already done — no manual FIFO or HIFO calculations.

Audit-ready crypto accounting

Every Campfire journal entry from TRES traces back to the underlying on-chain transaction with wallet address, transaction hash, and timestamp. Crypto audits become documentation exercises, not reconstruction projects.

How It Works

  1. TRES Finance monitors your wallets, exchanges, and DeFi positions, capturing every transaction with full on-chain detail.
  2. TRES calculates cost basis, gain/loss, and income classification for each transaction and sends the accounting data to Campfire.
  3. Campfire creates journal entries for each crypto transaction — asset purchases, disposals, income events, and transfers — all categorized and ready for review.
