We rebuilt both reports from the ground up. The new UI lets you save views with date comparatives — quarter over quarter, year over year, whatever your workflow calls for. Filter and group your data the way you need it, then export to Excel with formatting and formulas intact. No rebuilding from scratch after the export.

The same experience runs across both reports.

For teams making top-side adjustments through an adjusting entity: there's now a side-by-side report that shows your primary entity balances, adjusting entity balances, and adjusted totals in a single view. The adjustments column makes the impact of every top-side entry clear at a glance. Works across trial balance, balance sheet, and income statement. No more pulling two reports and reconciling them in a spreadsheet.

Ember's output used to be text-only. Now it generates files — PPTX presentations, DOCX memos, and XLSX spreadsheets. Ask Ember to put together a board update and it hands you a formatted, shareable deck. Ask for a variance analysis in a spreadsheet and you get one. The full workflow stays inside Campfire.

Flux Analysis and BvA commentary used to be two separate workflows. Now when you create a flux analysis, you choose between Period over Period or Budget vs. Actuals. Select BvA and your budget loads into the variance calculation — Ember runs commentary over those variances the same way it does for period-over-period flux. YTD support is included. One workflow during close instead of two.

Businesses transacting across EU member states can now handle the reverse charge mechanism directly in Campfire. Create an Intra-Community tax rate in Settings, assign both a VAT Receivable and VAT Payable account, and Campfire automatically posts both sides of the entry when the rate is applied to a bill. Net zero cash impact — both figures on the books for compliance, no manual journal entries needed.

Amortization Reconciliation Report — GL control account balances and Prepaid Amortization balances side by side as of any reporting date. Drill into either side, export to Excel.

Custom Reports — The new pivot-table style interface we launched in beta last month is now rolling out to everyone. Drag-and-drop rows, columns, and values. Column totals at the bottom. No wizard.

Ember Stop Button & Message Queueing — Stop an in-flight Ember response the moment you want to redirect it. Send follow-up messages while Ember is still responding — they queue and process in order.

Invoice Recovery — Beta — Bulk-start recoveries for multiple overdue customers at once from AR Aging. Recoveries automatically resolve when invoices are paid, including partial payments along the way.

Custom Billing Schedules — Define irregular billing dates directly on a contract — decoupled from your revenue recognition schedule. Invoices fire on the exact dates the contract specifies while revenue continues to recognize straight-line over the subscription term.
